Miguel is having a magical week. One of those where everything just goes right. It all comes easy right now. He spent the day drinking and lounging on the sandbar in the river. Nothing but him and the glorious sun.
A few weeks ago he was a mess, it’s wild to think how things can just swing around like that if you give life a chance to surprise you.

Everything is going right for Peggy. New job, new apartment, great friends, great sex life. Everything is really settling down after a hard few years. So why does she want to scream and punch the walls so badly then? It is like her body is flooded with all this anger and frustration. She is scared she is going to ruin the little good she has built. What she has feels so fragile. Now that she has a moment of peace it feels like all the years of pent of shit is just streaming out of her. She wants to vomit it all out but she can’t let it out. It does not feel safe to let it out.

Danny is crushing it this month. He landed three new huge sales contracts. They guys are singing his praises and taking him out for drinks. He’s been riding high, he’s also been way worse at home.
He doesn't know that this was the last straw for Nicole. The drinking, the yelling, the mind games and possessiveness, it has all reached new highs this month. She’s gone quiet, because she’s making her plans. Next weekend when he goes on his “boy’s trip”, three trusted friends are coming over to help her move. Just one more week and she’s free of him.
